The San Emilio Ring of Volleyball Enthusiast Association (SERVEA) is a dynamic youth organization rooted in the vibrant community of Cabaroan, San Emilio, Ilocos Sur. Founded with a passion for volleyball and a dedication to community engagement, SERVEA operates under a robust Constitution and Bylaws, guiding its mission and governance. SERVEA is committed to several key objectives, including: • Providing a platform for volleyball enthusiasts to enjoy the sport and engage with fellow residents. • Serving as a conduit for assistance from governmental and non-governmental sectors to support the association and its members. • Promoting values of good sportsmanship and fostering healthy competition among members. • Undertaking impactful projects for the benefit of both members and the wider community. • Upholding the dignity and reputation of San Emilio and its people, while opposing actions that may bring disgrace to the town. • Nurturing diverse talents among its members and serving as a model of excellence across various fields. Membership in SERVEA is open to all Filipino residents of San Emilio, ensuring inclusivity and community participation. Members enjoy rights such as participation in meetings, voting privileges, and access to association records. They also bear responsibilities such as attending meetings, contributing financially, and supporting association activities. Governance is structured around democratic principles, with elected officers overseeing management and decision-making processes. SERVEA's leadership comprises elected officials, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Press Relation Officer, and Sergeant at Arms. Each officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the association, from presiding over meetings to managing finances and public relations. Regular meetings are held to discuss association matters, with officials convening quarterly and all members gathering annually. Special meetings can be called by the President as needed. Funding for SERVEA is sourced from membership fees, annual dues, and additional fundraising activities, ensuring financial sustainability for association activities and initiatives. SERVEA's dedication to fostering a vibrant volleyball community and promoting community values underscores its significance as a pillar of unity and engagement within San Emilio, Ilocos Sur.
