The Federation of Accredited Extra-curricular Student Organizations (FAESO) is a school-based, youth-led, mother organization for extra-curricular organizations of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines - Cagayan de Oro Campus (USTP - CdO). Under the federation its 8 unit organizations namely: Red Cross Youth-USTP, Peer Group Society, Leadership Empowerment and Development Society, University of Social Concern and Involvement, USTP-University City Scholar, USTP DOST-SEI Scholars Guild, USTP-Chess Enthusiasts and Forerunners. The Red Cross Youth-USTP aims to conduct timely, impactful humanitarian activities inspired by the University Core Values to be a responsible individual for others. Peer Group Society envisions a peer society where mental wellness is practiced for the betterment of the students in this university. Leadership Empowerment and Development Society serves as an avenue of youth leaders that empower others to help and serve the society and an organization that shares and nurtures goodness and creativity of the youth. University of Social Concern and Involvement undertakes volunteer work and community services to connect organizations in a more diverse society. USTP-University City Scholar embodies the holistic development of every scholar through formation programs, academic enhancement and civic engagement. USTP DOST-SEI Scholars Guild envisions herself to be the leading provider of scientific, technical, social and recreational programs and activities. USTP-Developer Student Clubs is a Google Developers Program designed to help bridge the gap between theory and practice through understanding, and reflecting on technology. USTP-Chess Enthusiasts envisions itself to be the breeding ground of well-rounded and high caliber chess players to uphold the university fame to be consistent champions in all official inter-school chess competitions within the country.
