The Learner Government Program is the highest governing student body that is duly recognized by the Department of Education. Under its wing includes all the other school organizations and clubs that is recognized by the school administration. The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is the main proponent of programs, projects and activities that are recommended by the Department of Education for the students. The programs, projects and activities are all aligned with the DepEd’s core values: MAKADIYOS, MAKATAO, MAKAKALIKASAN and MAKABANSA. These PPAs are all included in the organizations’ General Plan of Action which is being proposed at the beginning of the school year. The implementation of the PPAs are year – round, depending on the project proposal approved by the school administration. For this year, our SSLG has accomplished a lot of PPAs. This includes, but not limited to the following: • Old School Uniform Donation Drive • Participation during the Brigada ESkwela • Participation during the National Tree Planting Day • Teacher’s Day Celebration • High School Day (MusikaBandArangkada) • Implementation of the 3 o’clock prayer • Participation to the Division Learner Convergence among others. Aside from the abovementioned PPAs, the SSLG is also mandated to help the school guidance office on the implementation of the mental health awareness program and the learners’ rights program of the Department of Education.
