THE FOREMOST CO-CURRICULAR STUDENT ORGANIZATION OF ANASTACIANS-RAFAELIANS The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Sta. Anastacia-San Rafael National High School (SA-SR NHS or SASR NHS) is the foremost co-curricular student organization of its parent educational institution via the powers of law vested in OUOPS No. 2023-03 of the education department. The organization is advised by Mrs. Rhona M. Pecho and is spearheaded by Mr. Vladimir Rui C. Fortes, SSLG President, SA-SR NHS/DFSSLG Vice President, SDO Sto. Tomas, in tandem with Ms. Sophia Louise M. Tolentino, SSLG Vice President, SA-SR NHS/DFSSLG Board Member, SDO Sto. Tomas. There are fifteen (15) incumbent officers of the organization elected by the majority of the student constituency on the previous first elections of the SSLG in school year 2022-2023. The SSLG under the leadership of the SSLG President spearheads the SSLG Coordinating Council; composed of two Houses - The House of the Primaries (All 11 Co-Curricular Student Organizations) and The House of the Representatives (All Homeroom Student Organizations) which is designed for the fast implementation and dissemination of beneficial PPA’s to the student constituency, the bicameral formation is selected for a much more federalized form of governance across the student constituency. The SSLG works and cooperates with the faculty and the SPTA to provide pertinent programs and activities for all Anastacians-Rafaelians especially those who reflect the four core values of the Department of Education; Makadiyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa. Above all, the SSLG provides and initiates directives for the benefit of the student constituency in all aspects necessary, whether academic, co-curricular, or extra-curricular in nature. As such, the influence of the SSLG is present in Sta. Anastacia-San Rafael NHS. Furthermore, the SSLG also aims to improve the delivery of its services to streamline the efficiency and effectiveness of the initiatives and directives of the organization.
