Barkada Kontra Droga is a student driven, non profit organization created by the Department of Education. It is designated as a preventive education and information program to counter the dangers and disastrous effects of a drug abuse. The general objective of the program is to promote people empowerment in leading a healthy lifestyle that is drug free and productive. Additionally, it is a peer group organized to provide and support school activities that promote awareness and intervention to drug abuse and its related issues.
