ln the year 2022, when the situation became much better after the COVID-19 Pandemic and contact sports were already allowed, the Sangguniang Kabataan of the Municipality of Lupon organized an inter-barangay Volleyball League which was participated by the selected youth of Barangay llangay. The team was in euphoria ending up as 1st runner up out of the many barangays who participated. The team continued it's training and participated in different volleyball leagues in different Barangays of Lupon and even on nearby municipalities. The team is using the mantra "kanaton lni", a local dialect which means "this is ours", to cheer the team up. The people and even the other teams were enticed to say the said cheer. The cheer became so catchy and memorable that the team was then called and embraced as "Kanaton lni". The team is growing and growing and is not just limited to single team but has the insight of training every youth who love volleyball and even other sports. The team never limit its vision on bringing home championship trophies but building and developing good characters, fostering discipline, promoting equality, and encouraging the youth to actively participate in social activities.
