The Libon Community College – College Student Council (LICOM-CSC) is the duly constituted student government of Libon Community College (Article 1, Sec.2 LICOM-CSC Constitution and By-Laws). LICOMCSC is situated inside the campus of Libon Community College and headed by the elected President, with the other elected set of officers. The organization shall envision to represent the interest of the student body of the Libon Community College, through initiatives, programs and services that will enrich the students’ lives. (Article 2, Section 1). The LICOM-CSC shall pursue to improve the quality of students’ lives in their stay at LICOM and promote inclusivity among the students of LICOM, by providing them with active service and reliable leadership, a clear and improved communication, both internal and external and provide assistance where the organization sees fits. (Article 2, Sec. 2). The organization shall have the following objectives: 1. Provide students the opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and implementing school activities and service projects; 2. Promote student empowerment and association through programs that will enhance the students’ skill and addressing the diverse needs of students. Such as academic support, mental health resources, extra-curricular opportunities and access to facilities; 3. Encourage and inspire the students of LICOM to participate in activities within and beyond the institution; 4. Establish better LICOM-CSC Officers and Members relationship by creating an open communication between the members to allow transparency and accountability in programs and activities; 5. Represent the student body of Libon Community College to the Administration to promote proper information dissemination and proper compliance to the school’s rules and regulations; (Article 2, Sec. 3)
