Peace-Building and Security
The James L. Chiongbian National Trade School (JLCNTS) Student Responder is a systematic organization aimed at reducing the vulnerability of students, staff, and school infrastructure to various hazards such as natural disasters, accidents, and emergencies. Its primary objective is to create a safe and resilient learning environment by implementing proactive measures to prevent, mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters effectively. Through education, training, planning, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, school DRRM aims to minimize the disruption of educational activities, protect lives, and safeguard the well-being of everyone within the school community. In order to establish a culture of safety and preparedness within the educational community, school DRRM employs risk assessment, mitigation techniques, preparedness drills, and emergency response protocols. Through the promotion of cooperation among many stakeholders such as parents, students, local authorities, and pertinent organizations, the aim is to enhance coordination and develop capability for efficient crisis management. Through continuous evaluation and improvement, it aims to enhance preparedness and resilience against future hazards, thereby contributing to the overall safety and well-being of the school community.
