“Sinag”, derived from the Filipino word “ray of light”, symbolizes the enlightening role that the youth play in shaping the future. “Sakbay”, a local term for “before” or “prelude”, underscores our mission to prepare the youth for leadership roles and community service. Sinag Sakbay Youth Organization endeavors to create a supportive and pro-active community where the youth can thrive and take the lead for societal transformation.
