Agawa Bababasang-Babaros Youth Organization(ABBYO) is a community-based youth organization of Agawa Barangay organized in June 24, 2018 initiated by the elected SK Barangay chairman to composed the Municipal Youth Development Council (MYDC) of the municipality of Besao, Mountain Province as re required by RA10742. The Organizations objectives are the following: to promote the role of the youth in nation building and molding them to become better citizens with values of patriotism, nationalism and honor as a filipino; to empower the youth and ensure their meaningful participation in local governance; to promote and protect their physical, moral, mental, intellectual and social well being, inculcate in them desirable values, and encourage active participation and involvement in public and civic affairs of the barangay/community. The membership in the ABBYO is not limited to single youth but it is open to all youth age 15-29 years of age as long as they adhere to the constitution and by laws of the organization. It's program and activities focuses on the above shaded advocacies but it is open to explore and expansion to other center of participation.
