The Association of Students in BTLEd ICT envisions its members to be fully equipped with technological skills, elevate the usage of technology in teaching and possess qualities of a globally competent technology educators. Guided by our Vision, the Association of Students in BTLEd- ICT shall promote technological understanding of computer education through social, intellectual, recreational and computer-related programs and activities. The objectives of ASICT are as follows: • The ASICT aims to establish specific and doable programs, projects and activities that would enhance the members’ skills, talent and expertise. • The ASICT aims to network with other organizations within the campus, including ICT clubs in other universities within the Division and Region, with regard to support and assistance to programs, projects and activities of the club. • The ASICT aims to develop among the members and the community proper computer usage, skills and expertise. • The ASICT aims to provide activities that would deepen the spirituality of its members. The ASICT believes in the value of: • Commitment • Respect • Trust • Cooperation The Association of Students in BTLEd-ICT (ASICT) is open to all Bachelor of Technology livelihood and Education-ICT students (Day & Evening) at the College of Education of Cebu Technological University-Main Campus. Members receive a membership certificate and identification card, which serves as a gate pass to join programs, activities, and events. The cardholder is responsible for their card and must report any lost, stolen, or misplaced cards. Members have the right to express ideas, be informed, and participate in the organization's activities. Election of officers is based on the degree of the student and includes the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Associate Secretaries, Treasurer, Auditor, Board Member (Day), Board Member (Evening), representatives, Multimedia Director, Multimedia Editors, Public Information Officers, and previous school year officers. The organization's officers are responsible for managing the organization's website, enhancing its digital presence, and providing consultation on matters concerning the organization's activities.
