The SSLG represent a recent evolution in students governance structure within the educational system. The concept builds on the existing student government model with the aim to provide secondary students opportunities for leadership and engagement. The SSLG framework promotes students voice, participation, and accountability or responsibility in school-community decision-making. It hopes to build a SSLG seeks to promote a culture of activr citizenship, foster crucial leadership skills and create nurturing environment for collective student involvement and impact. In accordance with DepEd Order No.47 s, 2014, the Department of Education recognizes the students Government Program through SPG and SSG. To ensure consistency pursuant to DepEd Order No.21 s, 2019, SPG and SSG changed to SELG to SSLG. ANVHS has SSLG since the establishment of the school. OBJECTIVES: A. Uphold the values, principles and ideals of the Department of Education. B. Empower the learners to strive for excellence in the academics, leadership and social responsibilities. C. Encourage learners to be proactive member of the society. D. Lead learners in developing passionate love of country, values, and competencies that will enable them to realize their full potentials and contribute meaningfully to building the nation. E. Represent learners in the school governing council pertaining to the learner’s concern. F. Serve, protect and promote the rights and welfare of every learner.
