Danao City Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines, Inc., is a program strategy of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under the UNLAD Kabataan Program (UKP) for disadvantage youth. It aims to promote their total development to become self-reliant, economically productive and socially responsible citizens able to contribute to the development of the family and community. DCPYAP Inc. has anchored its programs, projects and initiatives to the following three major program components of UKP. Economic Productivity which highlights the importance of educating youth individuals and empowering them in economic aspects such as sustainable livelihood and employment services. Personality Enhancement and Family Life Orientation which emphasizes the necessity of educating young individuals about adolescent health, population awareness and family life orientations as well as the importance of peer support systems from fellow young individuals. Last, Leadership Training and Social Responsibility aim to cultivate strong sense of dynamic leadership skills, foster in depth knowledge on crucial issues and concerns and provide solutions through implementing initiatives with innovations. The organization was founded last August 04, 2004 and was registered to Security and Exchange Commission last April 2022. The organization has a total of 42 PYAP Barangay Chapters under the federation of DCPYAP Inc. and has implemented sustainable programs, projects and initiatives like Project TUDLO.
