The SILBA Youth Organization, originally known as the San Isidro Youth Movement Organization (SYMO), was founded on May 16, 1973, by Mr. Anaclito Amplayo and Mr. Margarita Amplayo, who served as President and Vice President until 1989. Dedicated to the community of San Isidro, Candabong, SILBA Youth advocates for education, environment, health, peace and security, active citizenship, and social inclusion. Under Mr. Ronald DelapeƱa leadership from 1990 to 2005, the organization was instrumental in driving positive change. Following a hiatus from 2006 to 2018, SILBA Youth was revived in 2019 under Mr. Virgilio B. Peligrino Jr., presidency, renaming to San Isidro Light Bringers Association-Youth (SILBA) to better reflect its mission and community recognition. Currently, under Mr. Danny Peligrino's leadership, SILBA Youth continues to empower youth and promote sustainable development, ensuring a promising future.
