The Bukidnon Tribal Youth Ambassadors (BTYA) Damulog Chapter was established on February 11, 2018. Our mission is to be the lead advocate that promote the rights of the Indigenous Peoples (IP’s) youth. Protect our cultural integrity and preserve our cultural identity, through catering & strengthening the youth of Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICC’s). Participate in nation building and to be the voice of our community. Then we en-vision a god-fearing and peaceful Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICC’s) through youth moral development, who are free from any forms of discrimination, able to avail equal opportunities in school, work place, health services, in socio-economic needs and free to practice our tradition. THE OBJECTIVES • To cater and to be the training ground for the tribal youth for them to participate in nation-building. • To provide programs and activities that will develop their moral, social, talent and spiritual life for them to be a better person in their community, school and family. • To be the outlet of change and lead advocate that will promote and protect the rights and cultural integrity of the tribal youth. • To ensure that the indigenous youth have equal opportunities to acquire education, health services, livelihood projects and job opportunities.
