The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) of Hagonoy National High School seeks to inform students about the negative and harmful effects of using illegal drugs and cigarettes. The organization also assists them in receiving the appropriate treatment to overcome codependency on the said substances. Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) is an organization in the Philippines dedicated to combating drug abuse and promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among young people. BKD was established to mobilize the youth in the fight against illegal drugs by fostering camaraderie, peer support, and proactive engagement in various anti-drug initiatives. The organization operates under the guidance and support of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) and collaborates with schools, local government units, and other community organizations to amplify its impact.
