Ang Samahan shall be at the forefront of youth empowerment in Negros Oriental State University under the following objectives: (a) Increase Student Leadership Opportunities and Build Future Leaders: This promotes youth leadership and provides new ways for a student to be developed and experienced in leadership capacities. It allows the youth to grow in a positive environment that promotes personal growth with lifelong skills. (b) Promote Character Development: This facilitates the exchange of ideas and thoughts among the members, which leads to more innovation, enhancement of varied skills and knowledge, efficient processes, improved communication, fruitful connections and increased success. Through this objective, we can enhance university partnerships and provide unique experiences and perspectives. (c) Eradicate Student Apathy through a Responsive Organization and Upholding Student Involvement: We proactively respond and adapt to evolving trends, priorities, and student-centric needs while raising awareness on different societal issues. The organization’s responsiveness is evident in its advocacies and events. (d) Encourage Community Involvement: This encourages the students to play a vital role in their own development as well as in that of their communities, helping them to learn vital life-skills, promote positive civic action, and develop knowledge on human rights and citizenship. (e) Meaningful Relationships and Collaborative Network Development: The intentional and meaningful relationships with students and campus partners foster growth and connection, and enrich a vibrant university experience and community where people feel a sense of belonging, and share empathy, compassion, respect, and care. Through this, students can widen their network to more opportunities and explore various fields of personal and social development.
