The Supreme Secondary Learner Government is the highest student governing body in Sta. Fe National High School. It is the forefront of the learner’s rights and welfare; model of the learners’ experience, and representation of good character and deep sense of moral values. It has the power that emanates from the student body. It is autonomous, diplomatic, unified, and the highest democratic representative of the student body. It upholds and adheres with the Mission Statement of the DepEd. It is founded on the principles of good governance, volunteerism, participatory democracy, responsible servant-leadership, collaboration, unity, accountability, and efficiency in serving the learners. It is committed to adhere with the core values of Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan and Makabansa, its principles, and ideals into action through academic, socio-civic, and leadership PPAs. The SSLG shall have the following objectives to: 1) uphold the values, principles, and ideals of the Department of Education; 2) empower the learners to strive for excellence in the academics, leadership, and social responsibility; 3) encourage the learners to be proactive members of the society; 4) lead learners in developing passionate love of country, values, and competencies that will enable them to realize their full potential and to contribute meaningfully to building the nation; 5) represent the learners in the School Governing Council pertaining to the learners' concerns. a) To actively participate with the school management in developing a learner-friendly, safe, and motivating learning environment; b) To actively participate with the school management in nurturing an inclusive, service-oriented, gendersensitive, culturally aware, and environmentconscious community: c) To actively participate with the school management in developing self-confidence, critical thinking, problemsolving, decision-making, and learning among the learners and to provide learners opportunities to utilize these skills in contributing towards nation-building; 6) serve, protect, and promote the rights and welfare of every learner.
