Education, Social Inclusion and Equity, Active Citizenship

Our organization shall envision a community of empowered youth leaders and active youth volunteers in Lingayen that are increasingly educated on their most relevant issues and inspired to take part. Our organization shall pursue to be a leader in youth-led initiatives that focus on youth-identified issues in order to educate, capacitate, and empower an ever-growing group of Lingayen youth leaders to get involved in intentional volunteerism. Our organization shall have the following objectives: Lead the youth in taking action towards the improvement of their own issues and struggles. Capacitate the youth so that they are prepared with the skills and tools they need to take action for themselves. Empower the youth so that they can believe in the power of their own action. Inspire the youth so that they are motivated to step up and take action as leaders and volunteers. Educate the youth so that they can make informed decisions about their most pressing issues. Assess the needs of the youth so that all our efforts are relevant and intentional. Collaborate with other organizations to ensure that our efforts are shared, informed, and enhanced. Acquire funding via grants or partnerships in order to adequately support our efforts. Recruit new group members in order to support and grow our efforts Develop YVFL members professionally and personally in order to grow them as leaders
