The Youth for Environment in Schools - Organization (YES-O) is a school-based co-curricular organization that is dedicated to safeguarding, protecting, and conserving the environment. It is considered the premier student organization for high school students concerned about environmental welfare. The establishment of the organization is in accordance with the Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 72, series of 2003, establishing and making YES-O as the only co-curricular environmental club or organization in schools in the country. It is involved in various activities and projects aimed at promoting a greener and raising awareness about environmental issues. It recommends programs, projects, and activities for schools to implement, emphasizing the importance of monitoring and evaluation to ensure the effectiveness of the initiatives. YES-O promotes empowering young individuals to become environmental advocates and take proactive measures to protect the environment for future generations.
