Libot kalibutan-onan Organization is a Youth Organization in Sagay City that advocates for Environment, Education, Health, Social Inclusion, and Active Citizenship among young individuals in the locality. The organization sets to be an avenue for young individual for civic engagement and to raise awareness in the different social issues concerning the world. About the title: Libot is a hiligaynon term means around or to turn around Kalibutan is a Hiligaynon term means earth/world/suroundings Kabatan-onan is a Hiligaynon term for youth Kalibutan-onan is a combination of Kalibutan and Kabatan-onan Meaning: “Malibot ang Kabataan para buligan ang Kalibutan” / “Go around Youth, help our Nation” The youth can help the world through contributing, helping, and observing on what’s around and surrounds them even at the basic unit of our society. The organization shall have the following objectives: a. To create Youth Empowerment through advocacies training b. To be the voice of the voiceless c. To protect the environment and promote sustainable community d. To promote social justice and equality e. To promote civic engagement and democracy f. To implement activities and educate youth towards environmental protection, health, and leadership. g. To adapt spirit of volunteerism and leadership h. To be a catalyst of change
