According to the 2022 CONUS Charter, the “XU-Council of Nursing Students shall be the highest central student governing body of Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan College of Nursing (XUCN). Its officers shall represent its constituents in all university bodies and other associations, both within and outside of the campus, which directly affect the students’ welfare and interests. Guided by Ignatian values and Atenean ideals, XU-CONUS aids the University in integrating competence, conscience, and commitment in an effort to foster the development of globally competitive professional nurses who are proficient in knowledge, skills, and attitude. XU-CONUS envisions a council that is socially aware and vigilantly responds to the needs of its constituents in a dynamic, efficient, and united effort with a clear grasp of the truth and reality.
