Few decades before the close of the second millennium, the youth’s participation in nation building and development programs propelled to greater heights. This is primarily due to the establishment of youth-related programs, which provide opportunities to engage in the very activities that enhance the creative and dynamic potential of the youth. One of these programs is the so-called Damulog Theater, Talents and Entertainment Club (DATTE Club), an organization that responds to the challenges in providing the youth the venues to get organized and become the conscious element of the society. It enables young people to try out a variety of roles and values, a process that contributes to the healthy growth and development of independent goals and a sense of personal identity. DATTE Club was organized by a group of young people in Damulog on December 28, 1998 as an upshot to the successful fashion show dubbed as “Pasundayag” held in the municipal gymnasium of Damulog, Bukidnon. It was organized to help young people raise their aspirations, realize their potentials and have their achievements and talents recognized. DATTE Club is a non-government, non-profit youth organization that fosters within its members a deep sense of responsibility, dedication and excellence in whatever activity they are involved with. It is a special organization that had grown out of friendship, trust, united dreams and lot of talents.
