Social Inclusion and Equity

The Collective Union for the Legacy and Tradition of Unique Races and Ethnicities (CULTURE) is a dedicated organization that seeks to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples, particularly the youth at Davao De Oro State College, Montevista Branch. Rooted in respect for ancestral traditions and empowered by the wisdom of elders, CULTURE aims to awaken, mold, and empower Indigenous youth through education, leadership development, and cultural practices. The organization is committed to fostering unity, advocating for community well-being, and creating linkages with other institutions to advance the cultural legacy of Indigenous communities for future generations. CULTURE also focuses on empowering Indigenous youth through leadership development, fostering unity among members, and building closer relationships characterized by mutual respect and trust. The organization promotes educational advancement by establishing scholarship programs and partnering with institutions to enhance intellectual growth. CULTURE is dedicated to environmental conservation, advocating for the wise use and protection of forest resources, while also initiating efforts to raise funds and resources that benefit the community. By engaging in both traditional and modern practices, CULTURE strengthens Indigenous knowledge and skills, encouraging self-reliance, creativity, and industriousness. Additionally, the organization seeks to form strong alliances with other Indigenous federations and cultural groups to further promote the welfare and cultural legacy of Indigenous youth.
