The Saint Joseph the Worker Youth Vicariate is part of the diocesan structure that concerns the youth within different parishes: fostering unity, the cultivation of the soul, and total pastoral care within the parish. The Vicariate is composed of a diverse group of individuals, including priests, and mandated parish youth organization who represent the various parishes and communities within the vicariate. The primary objectives of a vicariate organization are as follows: 1. To Promote Unity and Collaboration: The organization perform communion and cooperation amongst parishes and communities of the vicariate. This allows for a more harmonious belonging and wider commitment towards common goals. 2. To Support Pastoral Activities: Provide assistance to parishes and Church organizations in local communities so that the sustainability of all pastoral activity may be achieved. This might be in the form of (spiritual and leadership) trainings and implementation from the priests and bishop. 3. To Represent the Faithful: Vicariate acts as the voice of the faithful ensuring that their concerns are heard and brought before the diocesan administration. This fosters a closer relationship between the clergy and the laity. 4. To Organize and Coordinate Diocesan Events: Vicariate organizations also take the lead in organizing and coordinating events that encompass the entire diocese-wide community, which might include retreats, conferences, and pilgrimage events. This provides unification among the faithful from various parts of vicariate. 5. To Promote Spiritual Growth and Development: Vicariate organizations can also contribute to the spiritual growth and development of the faithful through initiatives such as retreats, workshops, and prayer groups. By providing opportunities for spiritual enrichment, these organizations help to deepen the faith of the people. Vicariate organizations are important for the effective functioning of a diocese. By promoting unity, supporting pastoral activities, representing the faithful, organizing diocesan events, and fostering spiritual growth, these organizations play a great role in building the Church and deepening the faith of its members.
