The SSLG is the highest student governing body in the school. The organization shall be the forefront of the learners' rights and welfare; model of the learners' excellence; and representation of good character and deep sense of moral values. It also has the power that emanates from the student body. It shall be autonomous, diplomatic, unified, and the highest democratic representative of the student body. The SSLG shall have the following objectives to: • uphold the values, principles, and ideals of the Department of Education; • empower the learners to strive for excellence in the academics, leadership, and social responsibility; • encourage the learners to be proactive members of the society; • lead learners in developing passionate love of country, values, and competencies that will enable them to realize their full potential and to contribute meaningfully to building the nation; • represent the learners in the School Governing Council pertaining to the learners' concerns. • serve, protect, and promote the rights and welfare of every learner.
