School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) is a dedicated organization committed to creating a safe, resilient, and disaster-prepared learning environment for all students and staff. We empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources to effectively respond to emergencies, ensuring the well-being of our school community during and after disasters. Through comprehensive training, emergency preparedness plans, and a culture of safety, SDRRM strives to minimize disruption to learning and protect the health and well-being of everyone within the school community. To achieve this, SDRRM focuses on the following objectives: a. Promoting Environmental Understanding and Action: - We organize symposiums, seminars, and interactive activities to educate students and staff about environmental issues, climate change, and disaster risk preparedness. b. Establishing Specific Programs and Activities: - These programs may focus on topics such as Fire drill, First aid training, Earthquake preparedness, or Flood mitigation. - We ensure that these programs are practical, engaging, and relevant to the needs and interests of the students and staff. c. Networking with Other Organizations: - We actively build relationships with other youth organizations within our division. - These collaborations foster knowledge sharing, resource exchange, and joint project development.
