Environment
Villa Concepcion High School Baculod Extension is in a green, forested area, making it a special place for learning and appreciating nature. The school understands the importance of caring for the environment, so it has made protecting Mother Earth a key goal. This focus on the environment not only keeps the school safe and clean but also helps students develop responsibility for the world around them. The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) supports this mission by involving students in activities that help the environment. With a focus on cleanliness and proper waste management, YES-O encourages practices that keep the school’s surroundings clean and healthy. These activities go beyond just picking up trash; they teach students the importance of recycling, reducing waste, and using resources wisely. One of the main objectives of YES-O is promoting proper waste segregation. Through educational campaigns, regular clean-ups, and fun contests among classrooms, YES-O makes environmental care part of everyday school life. These efforts encourage students and staff to adopt eco-friendly habits, helping to make a lasting, positive impact on the environment.
