Governance

The PalSU Laboratory Senior High School Student Body Government is a semi-autonomous, democratic, and student-oriented organization where all authority and jurisdiction stem from its elected and appointed officers. We are the highest representative organization of Palawan State University Laboratory Senior High School that looks out for the welfare and well-being of the students under its jurisdiction. Our Legislative Department (Senate) is composed of 7 committees that focus on the needs of the LSHS community. Additionally, our Executive Department consists of different secretaries, districts, and local officers that facilitate and aid the students within their clause. Our goals and objectives are designed to address the needs and advance the betterment of the students. This involves the students' welfare, a safe environment, fiscal transparency, and students' activities. The LSHS-SBG aims to attend to the students' needs and interests on an intellectual, moral, cultural, civic, spiritual, and political level. And to encourage them to use their skills, resources, and qualities to hone their skills and achieve their goals. Besides that, we strive to maintain an environment that is open to the expression and exchange of pertinent ideas and needs. Our actions are aligned in catering to the education and health of students as well as promoting inclusivity and empowerment in our community. Lastly, in order to provide the students opportunities, the SBG respects the necessity to collaborate with other organizations for the efficiency of the service to its member.
