Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) is a school-based program designed to empower students to lead and participate in drug prevention initiatives. It encourages students to form peer groups or "barkadas" of Minagbag High School that work together to promote a drug-free lifestyle within the school community. BKD serves as a platform for students to engage in various activities that raise awareness about the dangers of drug use and provide positive alternatives to risky behaviors. Through BKD, students are given the opportunity to become advocates of healthy living and are trained to influence their peers positively. The program not only focuses on drug prevention but also on the overall well-being of students, fostering a supportive and proactive environment within the school.
