The YUGTO KABATAAN Organization aims to unite and empower the youth volunteers of Barangay Patul to actively engage in promoting community welfare, fostering leadership, and enhancing youth participation through various initiatives. The organization seeks to support the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Patul in its governance and program implementation, while also promoting the holistic development of adolescents through the BISITA Teen Center. Through these efforts, YUGTO KABATAAN aspires to create a positive, sustainable impact on the lives of the youth in the community, encouraging them to take on leadership roles and contribute to the well-being of their peers. The organization shall have the following objectives: a. To Unite and Mobilize Youth Volunteers To bring together young individuals in Barangay Patul, fostering a sense of community, solidarity, and collective action for the benefit of the youth. To create an inclusive, supportive network that encourages the active participation of youth in local governance, community building, and social action projects. b. To Promote the 10 Centers of Youth Participation To raise awareness and encourage youth involvement in the 10 Centers of Youth Participation as outlined by the National Youth Commission, ensuring the active and meaningful participation of the youth in decision-making processes. To organize activities that empower youth to engage in civic duties, leadership development, and social advocacy. c. To Support the Programs of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Patul To assist SK Patul in the effective implementation of programs, projects, and initiatives that benefit the youth in the barangay. To collaborate with SK Patul in addressing the needs and concerns of young people, contributing to the creation of a youth-friendly environment in the community. d. To Promote Adolescent Health and Development To advocate for and support adolescent health programs, focusing on physical, mental, and social well-being. To organize health awareness campaigns, workshops, and seminars that address key issues affecting youth, such as reproductive health, mental health, substance abuse prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices. e. To Manage and Utilize the BISITA Teen Center as a Resource Hub To provide a safe and supportive space for adolescents to access health services, educational resources, counseling, and recreational activities at the BISITA Teen Center. To promote the center as a venue for skill-building workshops, youth empowerment programs, and peer support initiatives aimed at developing the leadership, resilience, and well-being of young people in Barangay Patul. f. To Foster Youth Leadership and Responsibility To develop leadership skills and civic responsibility among youth volunteers, empowering them to become advocates for positive change in their community. To facilitate training, seminars, and mentorship opportunities to enhance the personal and professional development of youth members. g. To Foster Community Partnerships and Collaboration To establish partnerships with local government units, non-governmental organizations, and other youth-serving groups to maximize resources and enhance the effectiveness of youth-centered programs and initiatives. To engage with local stakeholders to ensure that the voice of the youth is heard in the development of policies and programs that affect them.
