The Katin-aran Youth Association (KaYA) is a youth-led organization based in Roxas City, serving as the youth arm of the Communities Hope and Initiative for Lasting Development (CHILD Initiative). KaYA is dedicated to empowering the youth through programs centered on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH), environmental preservation, employment opportunities for out-of-school youth, active citizenship, and the promotion of children’s rights. With its tagline, #ChampioningChildrenAsAgentsOfChange, KaYA aims to inspire young individuals to become responsible, proactive leaders in their communities. Its advocacy spans psychosocial well-being, disaster preparedness, and active community engagement, recognizing the critical role of youth in fostering sustainable development. KaYA believes that investing in the younger generation is key to creating meaningful and lasting change. True to its name, which means "able" or "capable," KaYA embodies the spirit of empowerment, reminding everyone that #KaYA! Together, the youth can lead the way toward a brighter future.
