The SSLG aims to serve as an umbrella of all other organizations in the school, exercise the rights, the privileges as well as the duties and responsibilities of the pupils therein as student organization as provided by the Philippine Constitution and by the school. Also, to protect and to promote the rights of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based, and complete basic education where students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, culturally aware, safe, and motivating environment. The SSLG shall be the forefront of the learners' rights and welfare, model of the learners' excellence and representation of good character and deep sense of moral values. Aims to lay groundwork for unity and cooperation among students by providing them a venue where they can improve their leadership abilities. It also seeks to train students to become better members of the society with the ideals and principles of participative democracy. To train students to become the best leaders and citizens along the ideas and principles of participative democracy. To help students develop leadership skills and values. To make available real exposures, experience and learning in responsible and participative democracy and leadership. To spearhead PPAs anchored in the DepEd Core Values: makaDiyos, maka-tao, makakalikasan and makabansa.
