Carigara Volleyball Association (CVA) is a community-based sports organization committed to promoting the sport of volleyball in Carigara, Leyte. Founded to provide a structured platform for aspiring athletes, the CVA fosters camaraderie, discipline, and athletic excellence among the youth and volleyball enthusiasts in the municipality. The association serves as a unifying force in the community, offering year-round training, tournaments, and outreach programs aimed at developing skills and sportsmanship across all age groups. CVA actively collaborates with local schools, barangays, and government units to identify and nurture homegrown talent. Through inclusive and competitive volleyball events, the association contributes to youth development and encourages a healthy, active lifestyle. In addition to athletic growth, CVA also emphasizes character building, teamwork, and leadership—values that empower players both on and off the court. Objectives: 1. Promote Volleyball in Carigara – Increase awareness, participation, and appreciation of volleyball at the grassroots level. 2. Develop Local Talent – Provide training programs and opportunities for players to improve skills and reach their full potential. 3. Organize Competitive Events – Host tournaments, leagues, and exhibition matches to enhance competitive experience. 4. Foster Sportsmanship and Teamwork – Instill core values such as discipline, respect, and cooperation among players and members. 5. Engage the Community – Strengthen community bonds through volunteerism, partnerships, and inclusive sports initiatives. 6. Support Youth Empowerment – Use volleyball as a tool to guide young individuals toward positive and productive paths in life. The Carigara Volleyball Association envisions a vibrant, active community where sports serve as a bridge to unity, growth, and opportunity.
