Active Citizenship
The Saint John Youth Ministry is a religious group of young people devoted to serving both the church and the community. The ministry is divided into two groups. The first is the Ministry of Altar Servers - Knights of the Blessed Sacrament, composed of young men who assist in church services and honor the Blessed Sacrament. The second is the Children of Mary Immaculate, a group of young women dedicated to embodying the virtues of the Virgin Mary and contributing to the ministry’s activities. Located in San Juan, Mexico, Pampanga, the youth ministry’s mission extends beyond the church walls. Its members are committed to helping people of all ages, especially children and the elderly in need. They initiate various youth projects, with their yearly outreach programs being the most notable. These programs are held in different parts of Pampanga and aim to bring aid and joy to underprivileged communities by providing food, clothing, and other necessities, as well as conducting activities that promote hope and faith. Through these efforts, the youth ministry embodies the true spirit of service, inspiring other young people to actively participate in helping those in need while strengthening their relationship with God. In addition to community service, the group provides its members with opportunities for personal growth, friendship, and a sense of purpose. By working together, they build strong bonds and a shared commitment to living out their faith. As one family, the Saint John Youth Ministry continues to bring kindness and compassion wherever they go, leaving a positive impact on both their church and the broader community. They exemplify faith in action, serving as a source of light and inspiration to others.
