The Pangutaran Active Youth Organization is a youth-serving organization based in the Municipality of Pangutaran, Sulu. The organization aims to encourage and promote the active participation of young people in the areas of health, education, livelihood, peace and sports within their community. The organization seeks to empower youth initiatives by enabling members to contribute their knowledge and skills toward community development. It also aims to collaborate and form partnerships with other organizations, government agencies and local and national government programs. The organization shall have the following objectives: 1. To create a venue where the youth of Pangutaran can actively participate and fulfill their roles and responsibilities in the community through various initiatives focused on health, education, livelihood, peace, and synergy. 2. To aid and assist the youth in becoming responsible citizens by raising awareness of their duties and obligations toward their community. 3. To increase youth participation and build strong relationships among young people. 4. To instill in the youth a sense of responsibility and ownership over their actions, and to develop their sense of citizenship and active involvement in community affairs.
