The International Youth Fellowship (IYF) is a Christian-based, global youth organization that was established in 1995 by leaders who recognize the problems youth face today. Since its establishment, IYF has grown exponentially and is now active in almost 80 countries. In the Philippines, IYF was officially established in 2004 with SEC Registration Certificate No.CN200416663. \r\nIYF Philippines has different branches across the country, namely, in Luzon, Quezon City as the main branch, Angeles, Baguio City, Cabanatuan City, Cavite, Manila City, Naga City, Pangasinan, and Pasay City, in Visayas, Cebu City and Tacloban City, and in Mindanao, Davao City and Tagum City. \r\nThe mission of International Youth Fellowship is to develop leaders of the next generation who possess humility and strong leadership and to create mutual understanding through global fellowship in order to form the basis of a bright and healthy society. The purpose of IYF is to inspire future leaders through three core values of Challenge, Change, and Cohesion.\r\nVision: Embody a happy society through a bright and healthy mind\r\nMission:\r\n The IYF’s mission is to develop, enhance, and advance the following attributes in order to realize its vision of happy society: \r\n• Strong mind: Strong minds enable us to overcome the difficulties in life. We lead and educate in order to strengthen weak hearts, which are the cause of suicide, crime, drugs, divorce, etc., and to help people live as proper members of society. \r\n• Self-discipline: The ability of self-control is the safety device to radiate youthfulness No one can fulfil all their desires. We train and educate self-control so people can lead a happy life by radiating youthfulness. \r\n• Change & Challenging Spirit: Breaking our standards is the new beginning of change and challenge. When our minds flow with one another, the walls between our hearts collapse and we become happy. We form change through exchange and raise the spirit of challenge to train talented people.\r\nObjectives:\r\n• To develop the life of the youth, students, professionals, and those living in despair such as drugs, alcohol, and game addicts, delinquents, and inmates to name a few, for them to contribute positively to the lives of others towards cultivating a peaceful and vibrant society;\r\n• To find and resolve the true sources of the problems of the people by focusing on fellowship of the heart designed to provide programs such as character education, mind lecture, leadership training, group fellowship, youth camp, bible retreat, bible study, campus ministry, mind recreation, performing arts, field trip, physical education, and other related people-centered development activities; \r\n• To enhance the challenging mindset, self-control, and thinking power of the youth, students, professionals, and adults alike; \r\n• To nurture a progressive and active posture of life with a global mind among youth, students, and young and adult professionals; and\r\n• To provide Character Mind Education and other relevant training and development program for professionals, youth-serving individuals, organizations and institutions, and other service-oriented organizations serving those in conflict with the law, which focuses on inculcating right mindset, attitude, competencies, and strategies in molding and developing leaders of the next generation who possess humility and strong mindset and leadership.
