Brief Description: The TentMaker Movement is a faith-based youth-serving organization focused on empowering Filipino Youth to integrate values formation and faith into their personal and professional lives and utilize their careers as a means of ministry. The TentMaker Movement draws inspiration from the apostle Paul, who supported himself by making tents while sharing values formation and Christian faith. Similarly, this movement encourages individuals to be "tentmakers" — using their jobs as a platform for ministry and servant leadership services. The movement promotes the idea that an individual can effectively share their values and make a positive impact in their workplaces, communities, and beyond, without relying solely on traditional forms of servant leadership services. Objectives: 1. Values Formation Integration: Equip the Filipino youth integrating values formation into their daily living, demonstrating positive values and ethics in their personal and professional conduct. 2. Bi-vocational Ministry: Encourage and support individuals who feel called to servant leadership services while maintaining secular involvement, employment and enabling them to sustain themselves financially while fulfilling their calling. 3. Professional Excellence: Promote excellence in personal and professional skills and work performance as a testament to the values formation and Christian faith, showing that believers can excel in their careers while honoring God. 4. Community Impact: Foster a sense of community among individuals and professionals, creating networks and support systems to help them navigate the challenges of combining values formation, faith and work/studies. 5. Discipleship and Mentorship: Provide resources, training, and mentorship to help individuals grow in their personal and professional walk in life with faith and effectively share it with others in their personal and professional spheres.
